Through Touching Dreams, we support initiatives aimed at developing South Africa’s future leaders. Additionally, each of our 24 properties has pledged to support a local charity focused on early childhood or youth development.

We are on a mission to drive real change and foster a strong sense of hope as we help turn dreams into reality. As we’ve learnt over the years, even one simple act of kindness can completely change someone’s life, further prompting them to do the same for others.

We support several community-based initiatives within our Touching Dreams portfolio. Many of these are angled to support the development of South Africa’s future leaders, some of which are detailed below. Alongside these initiatives, each of the 24 properties in the Dream Hotels & Resorts family have also pledged to nominate a charity within their community that is associated with early childhood development or youth development.

Reach For A Dream helps children with life-threatening illnesses by granting their greatest wishes, offering them hope and joy. For 33 years, the Foundation has provided dreams to children nationwide, giving them a magical moment to reclaim their childhood amid their medical struggles.
Christel House aims to break the cycle of poverty by educating vulnerable children from Grade R to Grade 12, providing career guidance and emotional support. We at Dream Hotels & Resorts support their efforts to build confidence and self-sufficiency in students. Our ongoing financial contributions help sustain their important work.
Langkloof Orphanage in the Northern Drakensberg is a haven for AIDS orphans and vulnerable children. Dream Hotels & Resorts, the primary benefactor, collaborates with supervisor Lindiwe Khoza to provide food, shelter, safety, and love. We cover monthly operating costs, daily meals, and property maintenance, including the on-site creche and primary school.
St Martins in Durban offers a safe haven for children of all backgrounds. Dream Hotels & Resorts supports them by covering high operating costs, allowing staff to focus on providing developmental support and making the house feel like a real home.
