The units are semi-detached two-bedroom duplexes, built for the way families actually use a holiday house. Downstairs there is a fully-equipped kitchen running into an open-plan lounge and dining area, and a door onto your own patio with a braai. Upstairs, the main bedroom has a queen-size bed and a balcony, and the second bedroom has two single beds. Each unit sleeps four.

Shared spaces do the rest. There is a clubhouse with a television, a games room with a pool table, darts and table-tennis, and a plunge pool for the end of a hot day. Guests can cook in, walk to a restaurant, or spend the afternoon between the two.

Beyond the gate, Knysna gives you the lagoon, the Heads, the forests and a run of beaches. Buffalo Bay is under ten kilometres away, Brenton-on-Sea and Plettenberg Bay are easy day trips, and the Featherbed ferry leaves from the waterfront in town.
