Welcome to Hartenbos Lagoon Resort

Hartenbos Lagoon Resort sits on the bank of the Hartenbos Lagoon, where the lawn runs down to the water and the day tends to organise itself around whatever the kids are doing. It’s a relaxed, family-orientated, self-catering resort, and it works best when nobody is in a hurry.

Kayaks and bicycles are available at the resort. When the water fun is done there’s a communal braai area on the grassy banks, and a play area with a jungle gym and trampoline. The beach is a walk away.

Mossel Bay is 7km away, with sandy beaches, whale watching, diving, surfing and a long list of places to eat. The resort also makes an easy base for the rest of the Garden Route and the Little Karoo.

The apartments come in two and three bedroom layouts and sleep up to six. Each one has a fully equipped kitchen, an open-plan lounge and dining area, and a private patio or balcony with braai facilities, so meals happen on your own schedule. All of them look out over the lagoon.

Kayaks are available for hire at the resort and launch straight from the lawn onto the calm water of the Hartenbos Lagoon. The lagoon is sheltered enough for children to paddle with an adult alongside them.
