Jungle Gym and Trampoline

When the lagoon fun is over there’s a play area with a jungle gym and a trampoline. It’s where children tend to meet the other children staying at the resort, usually within about ten minutes of arriving.

OUTDOOR LIVING

Communal Braai Areas

The grassy banks running down to the lagoon are set up for braaiing, so larger groups can cook and eat together outside. Guests in upper-floor apartments use the communal braai area on the ground floor.

Parking is available at the resort, entered through the Riviera Coastal Inn parking area at the end of Port Natal Road.

ON THE WATER

Hartenbos Lagoon

The resort fronts directly onto the lagoon, with calm water for swimming and paddling and a jetty on the bank. Kayaks are available for hire at the resort.

A Wood-Fired Hot Tub Above the Spekboom

Each cottage has a wood-fired hot tub out on the deck, looking across the mountains and down toward the river. Light it in the late afternoon and let it come up to heat while the sun goes off the peaks, then take a glass out with you. Wood for the tub can be bought on the property.
