Was absolutely spectacular. The staff are amazing and so friendly. Complimentary drinks on arrival and personal attention at every turn. The boat cruise was stunning. Knowledgeable guide and saw loads of wildlife. Nice walks through thick forest and wildlife everywhere.

We had an amazing family getaway celebrating my son’s 30th and my mom’s 80th birthdays at Malkoha Lake Lodge. From start to finish, the service was exceptional! Mbuzo Mkhize went above and beyond with every detail, and Chef Tabiso’s five-star meals and personal touch made our stay unforgettable. Nobuhle’s surprise high tea and Phindile’s spotless housekeeping with nightly treats were wonderful. The entire team was professional, kind, and attentive. We’ll definitely be back to see the new Malkoha shine! 🌿✨

What a beautiful hotel! From the moment we were picked up by ferry at False Bay, to the moment we left, my son and I had the most relaxing time! The activities were thoughtful and breathtaking. We are so blessed to have this World Heritage site in KZN. The staff were friendly and attentive and the food, so much of it, was delicious. The view from our room was magical too. What a place to absolutely destress. I will most certainly return. Another bonus was the lovely massage down near the lake and the forested wooden walkways to your room. Stunning!

Perfectly situated on the side of St Lucia, great for fishing, bird & wildlife watching. Extremely good food & lovely staff. Highly recommend if you want somewhere quiet & relaxing.

You have such a wonderful and well managed establishment, the experience was amazing. But most importantly, your staff is the most amazing and pleasant to deal with. From the moment we felt at home, till the very last minute. Our 4 year old kept on saying he wanted to stay behind, and his reason was “because they love me here”, and he felt the love indeed just like we did. That is rare to find. Your team is the diamond of the place. Then it’s the food😍😍, the great wifi, the activities, there’s just a lot to praise.
