Every room at Blue Marlin looks out over either the gardens or the Indian Ocean, and the walk from your door to the sand takes a couple of minutes. Rooms are laid out for the way people actually holiday here, which usually means a mix of ages, a lot of coming and going, and wet towels.

Couples and friends travelling together tend to take a Superior Room. Families spread out into a Superior Family Room, where an interleading children’s room keeps everyone close without anyone sharing a bed they did not agree to. The Superior Suite adds a kitchen, a breakfast nook and a patio with a built-in braai for guests who like to cook. The Penthouse takes the whole extended family at once.

Occupancy varies by room type at Blue Marlin, from two adults up to a five-bedroom penthouse that takes a whole extended family. Current occupancy for each type is shown on the room card when you check availability.

Sea or garden view is allocated subject to availability at Blue Marlin All-Inclusive Seascape. Note your preference when you book and mention it again at check-in, and the front desk will do what it can on the day.

Yes. Blue Marlin offers self-catering suites with a fully equipped kitchen alongside its serviced rooms, including a penthouse with a full kitchen, laundry and a gas braai on the balcony. Select a room type when checking availability to see what each includes.

Wi-Fi runs throughout the resort. Air conditioning and a bar fridge are fitted in the Superior room categories. Check the amenity icons on the room card for the type you are booking, as fittings vary between the serviced rooms and the self-catering units.

Check-in at Blue Marlin is from 14:00 and check-out is before 10:00. An online check-in request is sent before arrival to speed things up, and the team can usually store luggage if you want to stay on and use the facilities after checking out.
