Burchell’s Bush Lodge sits a kilometre from the Paul Kruger Gate and about 350 metres from the banks of the Sabie River, in landscaped gardens surrounded by indigenous woodland. Owning here means the Kruger is already on your family’s calendar.

The chalets are self-catering, and their comfort is the plain, practical kind that makes them easy to come back to. Enjoy coffee and rusks on your own covered patio while listening to the dawn chorus. The bushveld trees around the chalets bring in birds all year, with migrants adding to the local species over summer, and the swimming pool takes care of the middle of the day.
