Directions to the venue

From Johannesburg: N3 to Durban/Harrismith, second off-ramp at Harrismith (Bethlehem N5, not the Bergview Complex), right towards Bethlehem, bypass Harrismith, 4.5km then left onto the R712, a further 8.5km then left onto the Bergville R74. The resort is 27.6km further, on the right-hand side of the Oliviershoek Pass.

From Durban: N3 towards Johannesburg, off at the Colenso/Bergville R74 off-ramp, the first after the Estcourt Shell Ultra City, left following the signs to Winterton, through Winterton and Bergville. The resort is 36km from Bergville on the left-hand side of the Oliviershoek Pass.

From Bloemfontein: N1 to Winburg, off-ramp to Senekal/Bethlehem/Harrismith, right onto the R712 approximately 4.5km before Harrismith, a further 8.5km then left onto the Bergville R74. The resort is 27.6km further on the right-hand side of the Oliviershoek Pass.

FAQ

How many delegates can Little Switzerland Resort host?

The full conference centre seats up to 130 delegates cinema style, or 132 for a standing cocktail function. Divided into two halves it seats 80 each. Two boardrooms are also available for smaller meetings.

What audiovisual equipment is provided?

The conference centre has three large screens, HD wireless projectors, smart lighting, a wireless microphone system and HD surround sound, with Wi-Fi, flip charts and markers included in the standard set-up.

Can the conference venue be divided?

Yes. The centre splits into three equal bays of 5.90m across a 10m depth, named Eastern Buttress, Beacon Buttress and Sentinel, which can be combined in pairs or opened into a single room.

Is accommodation available for conference delegates?

Yes. Hotel rooms, suites and self-catering chalets sit on the property, a short walk from the conference centre, and several conference packages include accommodation with dinner and breakfast.

What team building options are available?

Guided walks, outdoor challenges, go-karting, ziplining, the high-ropes obstacle course, horse riding, mountain biking, fishing and court sports all run on the property, with a nine-hole golf course 20km away.
