From Cape Town (about 240km, about 23km from Swellendam)

1. Take the N2 from Cape Town and pass Swellendam.
2. Carry on along the N2 heading toward George for another 9km, until you see the BP garage on your right.
3. Turn right at the red and white Stonehill board on the wall.
4. Cross over a railway line, keep going straight, and do not take the Malgas turn.
5. Go past the school on your left.
6. The road changes from tar to gravel. Follow the gravel road for 2.6km.
7. Turn left at the red and white Stonehill board and carry on up the hill.
8. Go past the next red and white Stonehill board, which indicates that the lodge is a further 3km on.
9. At the gate, phone the access number sent to you before your arrival.
10. Follow the gravel road down to the lodge. Drive slowly on this road, as there is game on the property.
11. The brown thatch house on the hill is private property and not part of the lodge. Stick to the road and follow it down toward the river.
12. Reception is at the paved area on the left.
