Bilene Club Lodge is self-catering from end to end. Each unit has an open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining area, a furnished patio or veranda with braai facilities, and enough beds that a family or a group of friends can spread out without tripping over each other. Many of the units look straight out over the Uembje Lagoon.

There is no restaurant or shop on the property, so most guests do a shop in Bilene village and buy fish and prawns from the fishermen. Housekeeping, linen and bath towels are included; swimming towels are not, so pack your own. Units sit on the ground and first floor, and the first floor is reached by stairs.

It’s a beautiful place on the beachfront and near the ocean. It’s a lagoon – the water is nice and calm. The weather is not bad, it’s not as bad as in Maputo. The place is clean and the chalets accommodate 4 people, there’s a sitting room and a kitchen where you can prepare your food.it also has a swimming pool. It’s 200km from Maputo so when you visit Bilene buy your groceries from Maputo as there are a few grocery shops with limited supplies and the nearest town is plus or minus 100km away

The units run from two-bedroom apartments up to a four-bedroom villa, so parties from a small family to a large group are catered for. Exact occupancy per unit is shown on each room card at the time of booking.

Yes. Every apartment and villa has a fully equipped kitchen with a stove and oven, microwave, fridge and freezer, and cutlery and crockery. Each unit also has a furnished patio with braai facilities.

Air conditioning is fitted in the villa and ceiling or freestanding fans are provided across the units. Confirm the cooling in your specific unit type with reservations when you book, as it varies between the apartment categories.

Linen, bath towels, mosquito nets and a safe are provided, and the units are serviced by housekeeping. Swimming towels are not provided. Power outages are frequent in Bilene, so bring a torch, and pack mosquito repellent.

Bilene Club Lodge has ground and first floor units, and the first floor is reached by stairs. If anyone in your party would struggle with stairs, ask reservations for a ground floor unit when you book.

Many of the units at Bilene Club Lodge open onto lagoon views, and some have a partial view depending on the floor and position. View is not guaranteed on every unit type, so confirm it with reservations at the time of booking.
