The Whole Lodge, or Just the Fire

There is no function room here and no seating plan to work around. What there is instead: a lakeside boma where the kudu horn opens the evening, a restaurant deck above the water that can be taken privately, a villa that sleeps a single group on an exclusive-use basis, and a boat that can be chartered whole. Small groups work well on this peninsula precisely because it is difficult to reach and quiet once you are here.

Take the Boma, the Deck or the Whole Boat

A private boma evening runs the way the lodge already gathers: kudu horn, a hand-washing ritual with bowl and calabash, open-fire cooking and, on alternate nights, Zulu song and storytelling. The Lake View Restaurant offers private dining by arrangement. Malkoha Villa is taken on an exclusive-use basis with a dedicated host and a private chef. And the False Bay Safaris boat can be chartered whole.

Yes. Private dining can be arranged for an occasion or simply for an evening on your own, set up in a chosen spot within the main lodge area. Speak to the lodge during your stay and the team will arrange it.

Ghoha Hills Savuti is a small lodge of eleven tented suites sleeping 26 guests in total, which makes it a candidate for an exclusive-use booking. Enquire directly with the lodge for terms and availability.

Ghoha Hills Savuti is a safari lodge in a remote part of Chobe National Park and does not publish conference or meeting facilities. Enquire directly if you are considering a small private group booking.

The boma is a campfire area under open sky at Ghoha Hills Savuti, where guests gather after dinner to go back over the day’s sightings with the sounds of the surrounding bush carrying in from the dark.
