Email reservations@ghohahills.com or call the lodge on +27 63 613 9144. Dream Hotels & Resorts central reservations is on +27 (0)861 010 347 and is staffed around the clock.

Either a 4×4 road transfer of about three hours through Chobe, local villages and varied terrain, or roughly 35 minutes by light aircraft to the Savuti airstrip followed by a 40 minute road transfer. Both carry a two guest minimum.

Transfers to Ghoha Hills Savuti are pre-booked at the time of reservation and the routes cross genuine 4×4 terrain inside Chobe National Park. Speak to the lodge before planning a self-drive arrival.

Personal baggage on air transfers is limited to 20kg per person in small soft duffel bags, including hand luggage. Ghoha Hills Savuti includes a daily laundry service, which is what makes the limit workable.

There is no telephone communication at Ghoha Hills Savuti. The lodge keeps a satellite phone and a radio for emergencies, and Wi-Fi reaches the main area and the pool.

By light aircraft, to the Savuti airstrip  (the usual arrival)

  • From Kasane Airport: approximately 35 minutes in the air, followed by a 40 minute road transfer
  • From Maun Airport: approximately 50 minutes in the air, followed by a 40 minute road transfer
  • Minimum two guests. Luggage restrictions apply: 20kg per person in a soft duffel bag, including hand luggage

By 4×4 vehicle

A road transfer from Kasane Airport takes approximately three hours, passing through parts of Chobe, some local villages and several different 4×4 terrains. Transfers are pre-booked at the time of reservation. Minimum two guests.

By helicopter

  • Kasane Airport to Ghoha Hills Savuti: approximately 48 minutes
  • Ghoha Hills Savuti to Nogatsaa Pans: approximately 30 minutes
  • Minimum two guests. Luggage restrictions apply

Where the lodge sits

Ghoha Hills Savuti is on the edge of the Ghoha Hills in Savuti, inside Chobe National Park, approximately 150km south west of Kasane and 230km north east of Maun. Those two figures are road distances. Guests arriving by light aircraft land at the Savuti airstrip and drive the last 40 minutes, so the road distance is not the journey most guests actually make. Both are given here deliberately.
