This is an unusual lodge and we enjoyed our time here. It is remote. We got here by a land transfer from Ghoha Hills and we do recommend that, as you see parts of Chobe that you may not otherwise see. For the last 2 hours of the ride we did not see a single other vehicle and the landscapes were wild. We had some good wildlife sightings enroute, including eland.

One you are at the lodge, you can indeed enjoy an “armchair safari” and we recommend that. The wildlife coming to the pan is plentiful, even though there was a pride of around a dozen lions hanging out, guarding their prey!

The food and service were exemplary. Our guide was friendly and enthusiastic. You do need to take care around the lodge because of the lions. It is such a privilege to be amongst them and the staff make sure that you are safe. Altogether it made a fine contrast to the other lodges we went to; the remoteness, the few other vehicles and the view of the huge pan. We enjoyed a few days of downtime there at the end of our trip.

Beautiful lodge. Wonderful staff. We have never visited a lodge in Botswana before and this was magnificent. Wonderful Staff and very modern clean spaces. Tented rooms were like suites and the guides and all Staff excelled. We hope to go back one day.

We spent four fantastic nights at this lodge! The staff, food and wine were outstanding and the accommodation was sensational with great views of animals coming to the waterhole. A special thanks to our guide, Fred, who took us on marvelous game drives. We saw Lions, Cheetahs and Leopards and so much more! We cannot recommend this lodge highly enough!

Just a magic place. If you want to become one with the Nature, you should choose this lodge. It is a magic place. Everybody makes all your wishes come true – the lodge is wonderful and the lake is full of amazing animals like hippos, antelope, elephant, giraffe lots of frog always all kinds of birds. The bedding is super comfortable. You have a wonderful view from every room to the lake, the tents are big and you even have an outdoor shower, which is a unique experience. The food is outstanding and the game drives are top. You really should put this on your Botswana list.

An incredible experience! We stayed at the lodges earlier this month and had the most amazing experience. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left we were made to feel like royalty. The staff were waiting to meet us with a song and welcome drinks. The lodges are fabulous and the food was delicious. Nothing was too much trouble for the fantastic staff. The lodges surround a watering hole and there are always plenty of animals to see. The safari experience was so personalised and the guides were incredibly knowledgeable. I cannot recommend Nogatsaa Pans highly enough. Thank you all for making our stay so special!
