FAQ

The lodge’s own pool, bar, restaurant and reception services are open to guests. Some estate activities carry a fee, including golf at Zimbali Country Club and the shuttle to the Valley of the Pools for guests who are not Vacation Club members. Reception has the current list.

Yes. Mangwanani Dream Spa sits in the forest sanctuary at the lodge, with four therapy rooms and treatment spaces on the forest deck, the pool deck, poolside and in a pool cabana. Bookings go through the spa directly.

Yes. The gym, floodlit tennis courts and squash court are at the Bushbuck Club on the estate, and there are padel courts on the estate as well. The lodge has its own squash court. Reception arranges access.

A shuttle runs between the lodge porte cochere and the Valley of the Pools through the day, hourly from 08:00. It carries a charge for guests who are not Vacation Club members. Walking is the alternative: the beach path beside Block 7 takes about twenty minutes.

Wi-Fi is available throughout the lodge and in every room, along with DSTV on selected channels and multi-plug points for international chargers.

A backup generator keeps the lodge running. Some services may be limited while it is on, and a daily generator fuel levy can apply. There is no battery-operated lighting as a fallback, so a torch is worth having.
