FAQ

Palm Court and the indoor Thandi venue each take up to 100 guests. The open-sided Ngwenya Terrace takes up to 50, and the three indoor rooms hold between 30 and 60. The wedding team will match the venue to your numbers.

Yes, and most couples do. A ceremony outdoors at Palm Court or on the Ngwenya Terrace moves indoors to Thandi or one of the indoor rooms for the reception, with the grand staircase between the two.

Yes. Zimbali Lodge & Spa has rooms and suites on the property, from twin rooms to two-bedroom Presidential Suites with kitchenettes. Wedding parties usually block-book, and the sales team handles that alongside the venue.

Yes. Zimbali Coastal Estate is gated, and guests need an access code and identification at the North Gate. The wedding team arranges access for your guest list, so the day stays private from the moment people arrive.

The beach below the estate is not a designated swimming beach and has no lifeguards, but it is reachable on foot and is used for photographs. Talk to the wedding team about what is possible for a ceremony there.
