The Things That Run Every Week

Two things live on this page. The first is the resort’s own entertainment programme, which runs seven days a week for every age group and changes with the season. The second is private events: birthdays, anniversaries, year-end functions and celebrations the team sets up for you.

Themed dinner evenings

Lighthouse Restaurant. The room and the menu follow a theme most evenings. Guests are encouraged to dress for it.

Bingo, karaoke and disco nights

Coconut Cove Lounge. Families are welcome early. The room turns over to adults after 20:00.

Live sport on the big screens

Coconut Cove Lounge. Three large screens with full sound.

Sundowners with the in-house DJ

Blue Pearl Bar. Swing chairs in the sand as the light goes.

Movie nights

Cinema Room. Family films screened per the entertainment programme.

Kids' programme

Kids Club Arena and across the resort. Dream Xplorers activities and the three age-banded clubs.

Most activities at Burchell’s Bush Lodge are arranged for guests staying on the property. Contact reception to ask about any particular outing, since availability and vehicle space vary.

Burchell’s Bush Lodge is a self-catering property with no conference or function venue. Guests booking several chalets together are welcome, and reception can advise on what the lodge can accommodate.

Yes. The Dream Xplorers programme runs at Burchell’s Bush Lodge year-round, and archery is open to anyone from six years of age. Sign-up for Dream Xplorers happens at reception when you arrive.
