Finfoot Lake Reserve sits inside the Elands River Game Reserve at Vaalkop Dam, about ninety minutes from Johannesburg and Pretoria. Groups arrive for a conference in the Woodlands venue, a team building day that runs from a Segway trail to a potjiekos pot, or an evening at the Dinaledi Boma where dinner comes out of cast iron over open coals and the drumming starts during mains.

FAQ

Yes. Corporate and incentive groups can book the Dinaledi Boma at Finfoot Lake Reserve exclusively. For individual guests it forms part of a stay of two nights or more.

The Woodlands venue seats up to 80 in cinema layout, and the Dinaledi Boma takes larger seated dinners. Smaller executive sessions run in the executive tent, and outdoor spaces handle informal gatherings.

Finfoot Lake Reserve is set up for corporate functions, group celebrations and fireside dinners at the Dinaledi Boma rather than as a dedicated wedding venue. Contact the reserve directly to discuss a particular occasion.

Early is better at Finfoot Lake Reserve, particularly for the Dinaledi Boma, which is scheduled around the lodge calendar and prepared in advance.

Yes. Chalets, safari tents and a self-catering villa are available for groups at Finfoot Lake Reserve, and transfers from Johannesburg or Pretoria can be arranged.
