The team is on hand to look after a conference, a workshop or a celebration, with additional equipment such as P.A. systems, microphones and projectors on offer and all catering requests handled in-house. Being in Sea Point puts you close to the CTICC and the City Bowl for the business end of the trip, and directly across the road from the promenade for everything after it.

Sea Point makes a good base for the part of the programme that happens outside the venue. The promenade is across the road for a morning walk or run, guided kayak tours leave from Three Anchor Bay and the V&A Waterfront, and the concierge and travel desk books the rest. The shuttle covers 8km in every direction.

There are two dedicated venues: the Society Room, the larger of the pair, and the Executive Boardroom for smaller meetings. Faces Restaurant and Bar and Strolla both open up for larger functions, which gives four spaces in total on Beach Road.

The Society Room takes up to 110 delegates and the Executive Boardroom up to 25. Faces Bar and Restaurant seats up to 80 and Strolla up to 100 for a function. The right number depends on the seating layout you choose.

Overhead projectors, a flip chart with pens, one screen per conference and a podium are on hand, with a television and DVD player available on request. P.A. systems and microphones can be arranged, and catering is handled in-house.

The hotel sits in Sea Point on the Atlantic Seaboard, a short drive from the Cape Town International Convention Centre and the City Bowl. That proximity is why the venue suits delegates who are meeting clients in the city and staying at the coast.

Yes. All 110 suites are self-catering with a kitchen, a lounge and an ocean-facing balcony, which suits longer training programmes and delegates travelling with family. Reservations can hold a block of suites alongside a venue booking.
